Banks

Banks and exchange offices are available in all of the island's urban areas. Branches of the Siam City Bank, Bank of Ayutthaya, Krung Thai Bank and the Thai Military Bank are located on White Sand Beach. Siam Commercial Bank is in Chai Chet, and a branch of the Siam City Bank is located in Kai Bae. There are exchange offices in White Sand Beach and Kai Bae. Between White Sand Beach and Bang Bao there are over 20 ATMs, where you can withdraw money 24/7 with standard credit cards.

Internet, Mail and Telephone services

On the Island  there are some internet shops. The prices are around 1 THB/min. for a reasonably fast ADSL connection.
The Post Office is located on Pearl Beach, Zip code 23170.

Supermarkets and restaurants

Are to be found in all urban areas. There are many supermarkets open 24 h a day. The numerous restaurants offer European cuisines, while Thai- and seafood is available on most street corners and many small restaurants around the island.

Steakhouse Koh Chang

Finally there is a real and new Steak House in the Klong Phrao Beach!!! The new Steak House on Koh Chang promise to become a real hit. The qualitry of the beef steak is just great and on top....for really reasonable prices. The restaurant is located in the V.J. Plaza just on the left side about 40 meters away from the main street and the big V.J. Supermarket. It is actually just on the same side as the italian restaurant but just before. A cosy place, with a great service and atmosphaere. For steak lovers just a must !!!

Italian Restaurant Koh Chang

The authentic Italian restaurant Ko Chang with Italian chef's is located in the Chai Chet village,  Here you can enjoy the real taste of a authentic italian cusine. Jo and Marco, the two italian chef's provide you with a real exellent italian pizza and fresh pasta. Home made bread as also seafood is on their menu. The restaurant  "I buoni a nulla"  you can find in the Chai Chet Village. It is just behind the big supermarked V.J. in direction to the "V.J. Island Vew Apartment" on the left side.

Hospitals , Pharmacie, Clinics

The "Mayo Parmacy" is the eldest and largest pahamacy on the island and is located just beside the King Tailor in the Chai Chet Village. It is the only one pharmacy which provide you with herbal medicine and Spa products here. Of course beside that you also get the whole range of chemical drugs. The KC Clinic is well equiped and can help you in many cases.

Tailor

The "King Tailor" is located in the village "Chai Chet" just next to the Moya Pharmacie. Many happy customers told us about him and his great service and fairly prices, so we decide to give you some information about him. He has perfected the art of suits making. He have a large selection of fabric including cashmere, wool, linen, cotton, thaisil, chinese silk e.t.c.

Style you can choose from Armani, Boss, Versace, Next, Tiger, Filipa k. e.t.c. He provide you with a personal hotel room sales & fitting.

Police Stations

 The main police station is located in Dan Mai. Other police posts are on White Sand Beach, Klong Phrao Beach, Kai Bae, Lonely Beach, and in Bang Bao. The tourist police office is located on Klong Prao Beach.
